  • About apps• Apps are programs, for lack of a better term, that run on your Droid phone and tablet or iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.• While some apps have specific purposes, the ones that follow today will be of the more general, day-to-day operations• Many of the apps I will show you will require an online account with a specific Website• Apps I list are free except the ones with prices next to them

Apps While Teaching• There are apps that make choosing students easier and fairer.• Class Cards (iOS - $4.99) allows a teacher to enter student names separated by class and, when needed, calls on random students. The teacher is then able to rank that students answer between 1 and 4.• Pick Me! (iOS - $2.99) is similar to Class Cards, but gives only a Yes/No option.
