General InformationCourse DescriptionEssentials of Radiology: A Mayo Clinic Review is designed for practicing radiologistsand upper-level residents who desire a comprehensive and concise review ofdiagnostic radiology and its subspecialty areas. The course emphasizes a practicalapproach to imaging that is applicable to radiologists throughout their careers.The Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology has 150 staff radiologists practicing in allradiologic subspecialities, performing over one million exams each year. Thisvolume of cases coupled with the most modern imaging techniques has allowed thedepartment to compile a vast image library.Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology experts will conduct a series of didacticlectures and dedicated unknown case review sessions. Individual laptop workstationswill also be provided within the meeting space and are a unique feature of thiscourse. Participants will be able to view lectures from the provided laptop computersduring the presentations.
