  • 2. Overview This course provides a contemporary update of management strategies of head and neck cancer, using a multidisciplinary approach. Lectures and panels will provide a forum for discussion of updated therapies and new treatment innovations. Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: • Highlight the importance and necessity of the multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of head and neck cancer • Update his/her knowledge regarding modern surgical techniques • Update his/her knowledge regarding radiation and chemotherapy strategies • Recognize and diagnose rare head and neck cancer diagnoses • Manage appropriate referral decisions • Identifying emerging risks of HPV infection in the head and neck patient Target Audience Head and Neck Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Residents, and Nurses involved in the diagnosis and treatment of the Head and Neck Cancer Patient Accreditation The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
