Wight, PhD (Benaroya Research Ins tute) CHAIRPERSON: Stephen F. Badylak, DVM, PhD, MD (University of Pi sburgh) KEYNOTE LECTURE: Joseph P. Vacan , MD (Massachuse s General Hospital) COMMITTED AND CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:  CALL FOR ABSTRACTS and SYMPOSIUM TOPICS:  Abstracts will be considered for all topics related to the use of biologic  scaffolds for  ssue engineering/regenera ve medicine including: fundamental concepts of cell‐scaffold interac ons,  ssue  source and processing/manufacturing methods, whole organ engineering with biologic scaffolds, pre‐clinical in‐vivo stud‐ ies of  ssue and organ reconstruc on, factors that influence the host remodeling response, and results/outcomes of hu‐ man clinical applica ons.  It is an cipated that approximately 50% of the abstracts accepted for podium presenta on will  relate to human clinical experiences in body systems that include cardiovascular, gastrointes nal, urologic, dermatologic,  musculoskeletal, and the central nervous system.  Abstracts will be considered for podium presenta on and poster ses‐ sion display. Deadline for abstracts is October 31, 2013.
