  2. 2. 47 TH ANNUAL Recent Advances in Neurology This meeting is designed for the practicing neurologist and provides a review of clinical neurology, with emphasis on areas of recent advances and progress in patient management. Both current concepts and new advances in neurologic disorders will be covered. E D U C AT I O N A L O B J E C T I V E S The purpose of this program is to increase competence and improve clinical practice in neurology, specifically to: • Apply new concepts in itch, epilepsy, migraine and the tau encephalopathies in practice; • Recognize and select diagnosis and management of stroke, multiple sclerosis and optic neuritis, and apply best practices to their management.
