They need at least an MP on the last three years of Chief evals; are within BCA and PFArequirements; don’t have a Fleet Reserve, Retirement, or HYT date within one year of AERR adjourning. The training is required for all active and reserve commanding officers, executiveofficers, and senior enlisted leaders and must be completed by 23 August 2013. Training can be completedin NKO and the course name and number are “Extending Benefits to Same-Sex Domestic Partners of MilitaryMembers,” DON-EBSSDPMM-1.0. Upon completion of the training FLTMPS will automatically document thetraining. Further training for Chaplain Corps and other entities will be listed SEPCOR. All personnel may takethe course if they are interested in learning more about Same-Sex Domestic Partners Benefits.
