Each command musthave a Command Sponsor Coordinator (CSC) The CSCs must provide NPC with contact information, be atleast an E-5, maintain and track sponsor assignment in Career Information Management System (CIMS),and advise command ombudsman of prospective gains. The first 72 hours are the most crucial time for anew Sailor; ensure they are set up for success with a great sponsor. In the past year, the Navylaunched a robust SAPR campaign to promote education and awareness. We must now evaluate theimpact this campaign has had Fleet-wide. Participation is voluntary and failure to respond will not bepenalized; however, I ask your Sailors to take part in the survey to give us an accurate portrayal of Sailor’sattitudes and understanding of the Navy’s SAPR program.
