NAVY BUPERS 3 RECORD REVIEW What records will the ERB review? Answer: Per NAVADMIN 129/11 the Enlisted Retention Board (ERB) will review the Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) of all candidates, as well as all correspondence submitted by the candidate per outlined policies of this NAVADMIN. It is the candidates responsibility for ensuring their OMPF is correct and up to date with the latest evaluations, qualifications, awards, and other appropriate information. What is the OMPF? Answer: OMPF is your Official Military Personnel Record (OMPF). Sailors have direct access to their OMPF via Bupers Online “OMPF- My Record”, this is preferred method to eliminate the time-lags caused by waiting to receive a requested CD ROM. 5
