Mackal, Ph.D. candidate (TBA 05/09) </li></ul><ul><li>Their expertise lies within the areas of transforming traditional classroom curriculum into a variety of 2 and 3 dimensional computer-based deliverables, such as traditional forms of elearning, blended learning, games, simulations, and virtual worlds. They also specialize in theory and research-based learning interventions using avatars and motivational, audience-relevant story lines. </li></ul>
  2. 3. <ul><li>Their combined experience includes using applications such as Moodle, Adobe Connect , Unity games and Second Life virtual worlds. </li></ul><ul><li>Their most recent work involves the redesign of: </li></ul><ul><li>Teen Talking Safety curriculum based on OSHA standards into two online, interactive and engaging 3D learning experiences and, </li></ul><ul><li>Florida DCF’s Refugee Program Eligibility Guide into Adobe Connect self-paced modules. </li></ul>
