Requirements:
Maintain educational histories, Moodle and non-Moodle
Group courses into curricula to achieve specific educational goals (certification)
Manage and report on users at the curriculum level
Manage and report on users in system-wide groups (departments, regions, etc.)
Provide automatic course requirements based on curriculum definitions (pre-reqs., recurrences)
Maintain documents centrally

ELIS (Enterprise Learning Intelligence Suite)
Defined key learning elements to meet requirements
Elements can be managed outside of Moodle and integrate into Moodle

Courses:
Define information on a discreet set of learning elements – name, description, length, credits, environment, cost, required grades for completion and class template
Is not a Moodle course
Is used to create classes
