  2. 2. 2<br />Background<br />As one of the largest company's in the world we at McDonalds realize the need to take corporate responsibility. <br />We understand that many fast food consumers do not understand proper nutrition, therefore our goal is to create a healthier menu and to provide nutrition information to our consumers; we want to educate and help them make smarter decisions concerning their diet and in effect create better long term decisions.<br />In order to follow through with our goals, we also need to educate our employees, so that they can inform our valued customers.<br />

The job of middle management also included tactical planning and carrying out the vision of the top managers. </li></ul>TOP MANAGEMENT<br /><ul><li> The top managers created the strategic objective </li></ul>FIRST LEVEL MANAGMENT<br /><ul><li> First line managers created a Gantt chart to create a timeline </li></li></ul><li>S.W.O.T. Analysis<br />4<br />The S.W.O.T. Analysis helped us identify both the positive and negative possibilities of changing our menu<br />Strengths:<br /><ul><li>Appeals to those who care about living a healthy lifestyle.

  6. 6. Being one of the largest food chains in the world- if we take the initiative other chains might follow suit (corporate responsibility).</li></ul>Weaknesses:<br /><ul><li>Possible backlash from consumers who do not want healthier food
  7. 7. Costs including changing products and advertising materials, </li></ul>Opportunities:<br /><ul><li>Create new value meals with healthy options.

  13. 13. Warehouse manager is responsible for having the accurate amount of products and to ship them out in a timely manner.</li></ul>MIDDLE MANAGEMENT<br /><ul><li> In order to empower our stores to sell more healthy food, there will be prizes.

  19. 19. For every 100 salads sold per week we will donate an extra $100 to The Ronald McDonald charity</li></ul>MIDDLE MANAGEMENT<br /><ul><li> Raises and benefits will be offered to those first level managers whose stores meet the projections we have set.
  20. 20. Get feedback from first level managers to determine what can be done realistically.</li></ul>FIRST LEVEL MANAGEMENT<br /><ul><li>To lead employees in the right direction the store manager will offer incentives to all employees

  26. 26. It takes a fair look at how well everyone is doing and they will be rewarded for it.</li></ul>FIRST LEVEL MANAGEMENT<br /><ul><li>Our balanced scorecard includes healthier food, customers, price, and employees.
