  2. 2. <ul><li>This aqueduct is in Mérida. Mérida is in Extremadura, Spain. </li></ul><ul><li>Romans called Mérida, Emerita Augusta. </li></ul>
  3. 4. <ul><li>Many people call this aqueduct “The Aqueduct of The Miracles”. </li></ul><ul><li>It’s the second best aqueduct in Spain after the aqueduct of Segovia. </li></ul>
  4. 5. Other information about aqueducts in Mérida <ul><li>Mérida have got three aqueducts: </li></ul><ul><li>The aqueduct of Miracles. </li></ul><ul><li>San Lazaro. </li></ul><ul><li>Cornalvo. </li></ul>
  5. 6. <ul><li>-The aqueduct of Miracles was constructed during the 1st century AD. </li></ul><ul><li>- The aqueduct of Miracles was constructed for the emperor Marcus Agripa. </li></ul>
  6. 7. <ul><li>Many cities of Romans had got to aqueducts for transported water around the city. </li></ul>
  7. 8. <ul><li>This aqueduct is 400 metres long and 10 metres high. This construction has three parts broken. </li></ul>
  8. 9. <ul><li>This was an important construction to tranport water from rivers to the villages, but in those times there weren’t pipes. </li></ul>
