  • 1. Second Order Change
    • Creating second order change seems to be our charge
    • The task may not appear daunting, but in fact it’s rather large.
  • 2.
    • We have to be optimistic and embrace flexibility
    • Share ideals and beliefs, it’s not him or her but WE!
  • 3.
    • We monitor and evaluate the change as it occurs
    • The culture and order, once focused, is now blurred
  • 4.
    • We’re looking toward the future with learning as our goal
    • Communication meltdowns can eat away our soul
  • 5.
    • Input is essential but gets sacrificed just the same
    • Becoming a change agent is not a child’s game
  • 6.
    • We must give of ourselves to make it happen -- make education best!
    • After stimulating intellect, we can pause and take a rest
  • 7.
    • Many others talk the talk, but we must walk the walk
    • Those weaker will surrender, those doubting will stand and balk
  • 8.
    • We know the current curriculum, can assess all night and day
    • And yep, we know instruction, for us it’s child’s play
  • 9.
    • Getting second order change is tough, exhausting labor
    • The resulting quality education is something we can savor!
  • 10.
    • We’ll prioritize, we’ll dig right in, we’ll make our schools great!
    • Upon achieving this, our goal, we’ll go out and celebrate!
