MIAMI– April9, 2013 –Miguel G.Farra, CPA, JD, and principal-in-charge of the Tax and
Accounting Department of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC(MBAF), has been selected as one
of the top 100 U.S. wealth advisors by the British publication Citywealth Magazine. The list, in its
seventh year, is compiled from nominations within the private wealth management sector and
client-based recommendations.
Farra is one of eight U.S. accountants acknowledged by the publication. He joins Jack Brister,
principal in the Tax and Accounting Department of MBAF, on the list.

Farra has more than 34 years of experience working with public corporations and high net worth
individuals, both domestically and internationally. His experience spans from banking to
manufacturing and distribution to automotive dealerships, and he leads a team of highly skilled tax
professionals who focus on forensic accounting on voluntary disclosure cases, pre-immigration
planning, inbound and outbound corporate structures to minimize worldwide taxation and
international tax compliance. Farra’s expertise in forensic accounting has led him to serve as an
expert witness in divorce and commercial litigation cases.
He has been recognized for his contributions to the accounting field, the local business community
and his charitable efforts by various organizations. Farra was inducted into the Hall of Fame by
Miami Dade College, received the Excellence in Accounting Award in International Tax by the
South Florida Business Journal, and was presented withthe Twelve Good Men Award from the
Ronald McDonald House.
He is a member of many professional and civic organizations including the AICPA, FICPA,
American Bar Association and Florida Bar Association, and serves as the Miami Branch Treasurer
for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He serves as the Chairman of the Board for Miami
Dade College Foundation, on the President’s Council and Accounting Advisory Board for the
University of Miami, the Board of Governors for UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Institute,
Tocqueville Society Co-Chair for the United Way of Miami-Dade, Director for US-Cuba Democracy
Political Action Committee, Director for Camillus House, and Treasurer for the International Wine &
Food Society.
