  • mayraRuiz Mayra Ruiz-McPherson, e-marketing strategist, PR 2.0 professional, strong advocate for social business at ruiz mcpherson communications llc Agreed to some extent. I think there is a realization that something needs to be done. I sensed a real genuine interest in learning how digital marketing space could aid these tv stations in their outreach and repositioning. But definitely agree that they have to turn the ship around, be innovative and make the effort to connect. The control thing ... that's definitely a factor not just in this space but in many industries. It's definitely an important detail that anyone seeking success in the digital marketing space must learn they no longer have the power; the people do. Thank you so much for your insightful comments. They are much appreciated. 4 years ago

  • VizMedia Mike Cornett, OH Video Specialist at Visual Media Concepts I believe that 'TV people' are resisting the change. It will be intriguing to see how they behave. The main problem is they re-propose their content. They are not re-inventing anything and/or trying to 'really' connect. I hear the same fears from them as all others...'What will people think?!', 'How do we control this?!', 'What if someone doesn't like it?!', etc. 4 years ago
