Festive "Chic and Shock" Afternoon Tea

Throughout the festive season the Connaught celebrates with a season afternoon tea served to the strains of all your favourite Christmas melodies played by our harpist.

Country bread sandwiches filled with foie gras mousse, smoked salmon and avocado mousseline, roast turkey with green mustard cream, and egg mayonnaise set the scene for a magnificent array of Christmas cakes and pastries from head pastry chef Johannes Bonin.

Highlights include festive chestnut biscuits with black current jelly and cream, winter pudding in a chocolate sphere, banana Madeleines, lime cheesecake, maple syrup mascarpone mousse and vanilla panna cotta with pear and yuzu compote, all presented on sparkling silver platters alongside freshly made apricot scones, Christine Ferber jams and Devonshire clotted cream.
