HOT CHOCOLATE, CHRISTMAS CLASSICS AND FURR Y HOT WATER
BOTTLES SET THE SCENE ON THE BERKELEY’S ROOF TOP TERRACE
London, Dec 8th 2009 – Known as the place to see and be seen during the summer
months, The Berkeley’s Health C lub & Spa transformed its roof-top terrace for the first
time into a pine- filled forest cinema this year. Hotel guests and day spa visitors are
treated to winter classics on the big screen while nestling between fluffy cushions, cozy
pashminas and furry hot water bottles. Hot chocolate and mince pies are on hand to
complete the festive atmosphere while heating lamps have been installed to keep guests
warm. The Berkeley’s Winter Wonderland is on display until January 31st 2010.
Home- made hot chocolate with marshmallows make for the perfect treat while watching
winter classics such as ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ or ‘Miracle on 34th Street’. Towering high
above bustling Knightsbridge, this pine- lined outdoor theatre is London’s only private
cinema whisking you away to a world of snowy landscapes. The Berkeley’s Winter
Wonderland is fully accessible for hotel guests as well as day spa members. For the
festive period, The Berkeley offers Winter Warmer rates starting at £225 plus VAT
which include an over night stay with access to the roof-top cinema. Full day spa
membership is available at £65 per person for non-residents including full access to the
pool and heath club complete with sauna and steam.
A special Winter Wonderland package for Londoners is available at £35 per person for
