  • 2. What is Prezi?Prezi is a Hungarian software company, Prezi is a presentation tool todevelop beyond a Power Point. It is based on a system ofapproaches to information and images that connect ideas and allowsmuch more visual composition that immediately captures theattention.Founded in 2009 by Peter Halacsy, Peter Arvai and architect andvisual artist Adam Somlai-Fischer at the head of design, Prezi isestablished as one of the most comprehensive tools for presentationsand share them with the user community. Here is a brief descriptionof its main features.

What is Open Office?Apache OpenOffice Impress, a part of the ApacheOpenOffice office suite and developed by SunMicrosystems, is an open source presentation programcompatible with and similar to Microsoft PowerPoint. Inaddition to being able to create PDF files frompresentations, it is also able to export presentations to SWFfiles allowing them to be played on any computer with aFlash player installed. It is able to view, edit and save files inseveral file formats, including the .ppt format, which is usedby Microsoft PowerPoint.
