Genesis 1:26
“ Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”;

AS REVEALED

THE OLD TESTAMENT

“ Elohim”
Genesis 1:1 - means � “The strong one”;
“ Jehovah”
Genesis 2:4 - There are two major meanings - “Redemption” and “self existent” – “I am what I am” Exodus 3:14
“ Adonai”
Genesis 15 - means “one who rules.”

“ Elohim”
Genesis 1:1 - means � “The strong one”;
The first Hebrew word used in the Bible which is translated God is the word “Elohim”
It is used over 2500 times in the Old Testament for God
“ El Elyon”
Genesis 14 -translated as the most high God
“ El Shaddai”
Genesis 17 – translated as the � almighty God
“ El Olam”
Genesis 21 – translated as the � everlasting God.

“ Jehovah”
Genesis 2:4 - This word is used over 5000 times in the Old Testament

Genesis 15
means “one who rules:
it may be used of the relationship between a master and a slave or a husband and a wife. More importantly, it reveals God the Father as one who owns and rules over all.

“ Because I have called and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded.” Proverbs 1:24

These three titles or names of God reveal God the Father ;
as the God of strength ,
as the God of Salvation , and
as the Sovereign God .
Through the use of these names or titles, you gain insight as to the nature and identity of God the Father.

Who is this Man?

Who do you say I am? "Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is His Name?' Then what shall I tell them?" "God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:13-14

Who do you say I am? Jesus said to them: “Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:59 From now on I am telling you before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe that “I AM”. John 13:19

" I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6

“ I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.“ John 8:12 " I am the resurrection and the life. The person who believes in me, even though he dies, will live.” John 11:25

" I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.“ John 6:51

" I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” John 6:35

“ I am the gate for the sheep,” John 10.7 “ I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9

" I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” John 10:11 " I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,” John 10:14

“ I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me.” John 15:5

When He spoke with authority
Matt. 7:28- 29
When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at is teaching, for he taught them as one having authority , and not as their scribes.

HE IS NOT OF THIS WORLD- HE IS DIVINE ! Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm .” John 18:36 And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. John 8:23 "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world .” John 17:14

John 20:28-29
Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
Jesus Affirmed His Godliness

He declares that He will come to be the judge of all men ( Matthew 25:31 ). In Jewish theology the judgment of the world was a distinctively Divine, and not a Messianic , prerogative.
In the parable of the wicked husbandmen, He describes Himself as the son of the householder, while the Prophets , one and all, are represented as the servants ( Matthew 21:33 sqq. ).

He is the Lord of Angels , who execute His command ( Matthew 24:31 ).
He approves the confession of Peter when he recognizes Him, not as Messiah — a step long since taken by all the Apostles — but explicitly as the Son of God : and He declares the knowledge due to a special revelation from the Father ( Matthew 16:16-17 ).

Finally, before Caiphas He not merely declares Himself to be the Messiah , but in reply to a second and distinct question affirms His claim to be the Son of God . He is instantly declared by the high priest to be guilty of blasphemy , an offense which could not have been attached to the claim to be simply the Messias ( Luke 22:66-71 ).

Conception : Luke 1: 35- And the angel said to her in reply, “The holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. Transfiguration: “This is my chosen Son, my Chosen, listen to him.” Luke 9:35

JESUS REVEALING HIS FATHER THE CREATOR

When He revealed his source authority
John 5:19 - Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing; for what he does, his son will do also. ;
John 8:28 - So Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own, but I say only what the Father taught me. ;

When He revealed his source authority
John 12:49
“ because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak.” ;
John 14:10
“ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works)”

When he revealed his orgin

“ Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and am here; I did not come on my own, but he sent me. “

“ because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it [on] the last day”

“ We have to do the works of the one who sent me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.”

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him. ; John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ;

John 17:25- 26 Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me. John 14:8 - Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.

In the Beginning…. “ … while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters..” - Gen 1:2 Other translation uses “ Spirit of God”

Scripture tells us that there is only one God (Dt 4:35; Isaiah 45:5; 46:9)
Dt 4:35- “To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him.”
Isaiah 45:5 – “I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I gird you, though you do not know me.”
Isaiah 46:9 – “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.”

The Bible also refers to three distinct persons as "God":;
God the Father (Isaiah 63:16; Isaiah 64:68),
Jesus Christ His Son (Jn 1:1; 20:28)
and the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3,4).
The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are Three distinct Persons in One God.

The Trinity" (literally "tri-unity" meaning three in unity as one).
Though each Person is distinct from the other two, they do not act separately. What the Father does, the Son and Holy Spirit do as well. The Godhead acts as one

The Vatican Council has explained the meaning to be attributed to the term mystery in theology .
It lays down that a mystery is a truth which we are not merely incapable of discovering apart from Divine Revelation , but which, even when revealed, remains "hidden by the veil of faith and enveloped, so to speak, by a kind of darkness" (Constitution, "De fide. cath.", iv)

John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life...." John 10:28 " I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand."

The Holy Spirit sanctify His people through gifts of graces ( Romans 15:16; Titus 3:5; 2 Thess 3:8 )

He revealed the doctrine in explicit terms, bidding them "go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son , and of the Holy Spirit " ( Matthew 28:18 ).

The differences in actions of the three persons might be described in this way:
Everything comes from the Father, everything is accomplished and actualized by the Son, everything reaches humanity and becomes present to and experienced by humanity through the Holy Spirit.
One the other hand, the return to God follows a reverse process: in the Spirit and through the Son, we reach the Father.

Hence the whole Christian life is a communion with each of the divine persons, without in any way separating them. Everyone who glorifies the Father does so through the Son in the Holy Spirit; everyone who follows Christ does so because the Father draws him and the Spirit moves him.

The Sign of the Cross
Salutation May the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all (2 Cor. 13:13)

Conclusion of Prayers:
Heavenly Father … This we ask, through Your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever, Amen.

The Creed :
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God, begotten not made, one in being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: (Bow) By the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary and became man…. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets.

Eucharistic Prayer 3 And so, Father, we bring you these gifts. We ask you to make them holy by the power of your Spirit, that they may become the body + and blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Doxology Through Him, with Him, in Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, Almighty Father, forever and ever Amen.
The Final Blessing May Almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son + and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
