  • 2. How the game works
    • In hockey there are two teams of 5 players and a goalkeeper. The point of the game is to shoot a hard rubber puck into the other team’s net past the goalie to score a goal. The team with the most goals by the end of the three 20 minute periods wins the game.

  • 4. The hockey that I play
    • The hockey that I play is less aggressive than the National Hockey League. I play peewee hockey and it is my second year of hitting.

    • My favorite hockey player is Sidney Crosby and my favorite goalie is Ed Belfour.

    • The Stanley Cup is a special trophy that is given to the team (NHL) that wins the league. There is a picture of it below and on the title.

  • 8. Positions In Hockey And There Jobs
    • Forwards:
    • The forwards job is to score goals
    • Center- the center is the person who can go anywhere on the ice.
    • Left wing- is supposed to stay on the left side of the ice.
    • Right wing-is supposed to stay on the right side of the ice.
    • Defense:
    • The defenses job is to stop the other team from scoring.
    • Defensemen- try to stop the other team from shooting on the goalie.
    • Goaltender- to prevent the puck from going into the net.
