  • 3. BANGER AND MASH It is the familiar term for Sausage and Mash, a favourite British and Irish dish. It is a traditional dish made of mashed potatoes and sausages. It is sometimes served with onion gravy, fried onions, baked beans and peas. Nutritional values
  • 4. COTTAGE PIE It is also called Shepherd’s Pie. It is originally a traditional English dish, which consists of a meat pie made with lamb or mutton and a crust of mashed potato. Nutritional values
  • 5. APPLE PIE It is a fruit pie in which the principal filling ingredient is apples. It is sometimes served with whipped cream or icecream on top, or alongside cheddar cheese. Nutritional values
  • 6. Guinness chocolate cake This chocolate cake is made with Guinness layered in a glass with Baileys chocolate mousse and topped with cream cheese frosting. Baileys
  • 7. SHERRY TRIFLE It is the quintessential pudding that has graced British tables. A trifle needs sponge soaked in sherry, a thick layer of creamy custard and a deep layer of lightly whipped fresh cream. Baileys
  • 8. JACKET POTATO This is the edible result of baking a potato. When well cooked, a baked potato has a fluffy interior and a crisp skin. It may be served with a wide choice of fillings and condiments such as butter. Nutritional values
