Flashtweet provides a very easy way to mass follow people on Twitter.
Take note of how many people I am following,
I’ll show you how you can easily manage your Twitter followers.
Login to Flashtweet using your Twitter ID and Password, then click on <Sign In>,

Once you have signed in click on Mass Follow,
Now enter the Twitter UserName of someone whose friend’s you would like to mass follow,
That person’s friends are now displayed.

Click on any page number to display friends of that person,

Scroll down and click on the <Check All> button, then click on the <Follow> button,

You have now mass followed 100 more people!

Repeat this process by following these exact steps..
Eventually you will see this notification – Rate limit exceeded. Users are limited to 100 requests
per hour. Friend data not load,
This is because Twitter has imposed the following limits,
• 1,000 updates per day
• 1,000 direct messages per day
• 100 API requests per hour
• Follow limit
There is no limit to the number of people who can follow you. Everyone is allowed to follow
2000 people. After that, follow limits are based on the number of people who
are following you.
When the above message appears, you will have to wait an hour before you can resume mass
following people.. up to a maximum of 2000.

Flashtweet is a great tool for mass following people.
Often people use this tactic of mass following people to get their follower numbers up.
Statistically some of these people are going to follow you back.. often they may have an auto-follow
enabled.
