The Social Media Guide Hold Video Conferences or Create Your Own Video Chatroom with Tinychat Page | 1 Tinychat is a service that provides an extremely simple and easy way to hold video conferences, or even setup your own video chatroom. Tinychat makes video conferencing an accessible and uncomplicated experience. There is nothing to download and it works on Windows, MAC and Linux and you can use Firefox, IE, Safari and Chrome browsers. Each Tinychat room currently supports 300 concurrent chat participants. You can also have up to 12 simultaneous audio and video participants in a room with HQ video, protected by passwords and moderators, share your desktop with them, and you can even record your conferences and embed them on your website. It is also very easy to share your chatroom on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Tinychat also offer a Premium Membership which allows members,  Ownership of 5 rooms to name and save, each with..  The option for more privacy with password protection and..  Upgraded HQ video for all of your participants to enjoy  The ability to set a broadcast password, making it easy to do live shows  The ability to record your sessions and download the raw video files afterwards to embed to your site or profile Before we get started make sure your webcam and microphone are setup and ready to go! You will also see a URL which you can send to your friends and have them join your chatroom.. mine is, http://tinychat.com/thesocialmediaguide For now I’m not going to invite anyone just yet.. so click on <OK, I’m ready to Join My Chat>, Once again I’m not going to invite anyone just yet.. The Social Media Guide Page | 3 Next, you can enter a topic for your room, as well as set further permissions, Permissions The additional permissions can be set and changed at any time.  Control who can broadcast audio and video – this option allows you to take control of the audio and video in your room. Nobody else will be able to broadcast, unless you give them permission.  List this room in the Tinychat public API – this option lists your room on Tinychat and/or other sites utilizing the Tinychat public API.  Require users to sign in with Twitter - this option allows you to know exactly who is participating in your room. Everyone has to sign in with Twitter.  Tweet the URL to this room now – this option tweets out a link to your room. Set your permissions as desired.
