Idea! <ul><li>To start a social book marking site targeted at Indian audience </li></ul><ul><li>Concept already popular in US, but still not much popular in India mainly because Indian users are not yet propely targeted </li></ul><ul><li>Situation same as that existed in social networking scenario 3 years back. Though was popular in US, it was not that popular in India. Orkut targeted India and was successful </li></ul>

Our offering to users <ul><li>Read cool and interesting stories which other peoples are voting for plus recommend stories by your friends and us. </li></ul><ul><li>Discover like minded peoples online who are sharing and liking stories of your interest </li></ul><ul><li>Share stories you have liked with your friends and millions of other users of our community. </li></ul><ul><li>Rate , discuss and comment upon stories you like </li></ul><ul><li>Save all your favorite links and bookmarks online at one place, so that you have access to them anytime, anywhere. </li></ul>

Saving bookmarks online <ul><li>A very useful concept, sole reason for popularity </li></ul><ul><li>Anytime, anywhere access </li></ul><ul><li>Any number of links can be saved </li></ul><ul><li>Easier to save and find links by tagging them </li></ul><ul><li>Easier to share bookmarks with friends, colleagues, students etc. Since they are already online we just have to direct our friends there </li></ul>

For example, has 90% social networking share in US. While social book marking sites like and reddit are all closely competing. Therefore we can exist even with others. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Defense against Orkut <ul><li>Orkut can be a big competitor to us if it allows link sharing like it is allowing video link on profiles at present. But there are chances orkut won’t do it and we would be able to deal with it </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Orkut being a popular site is at higher risks if it starts something and that thing fails </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Orkut has a lot of brazilian population. So a common page like is not possible because of difference in language </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Orkut has a bookmarks section, but it is used to book mark interesting profiles and not the links </li></ul></ul>
