Emergence Profile • Waxed in ridge contact. • Follow contour of emergence.

Duplication • If using hydrocolloid, wax tooth positions in sticky wax or hard wax to avoid change in position. • Duplication silicone works better.

Mix 30% Scanocryl with self cure monomer.

Load monoject syringe with Scanocryl

Inject Scanocryl into mold while on model until scanocryl extrudes from adjacent hole

Cure on model using convention self cure method.

• Trim and fit to ridge to evaluate the placement. • Pontics should fit on ridge and rest in place.

Create occlusal /incisal retention • Thin out duplicate model to allow for good vacuum forming. • Pro-form .120 or .100 splint material. (P.E.Thalate) acrylic needs to stick to it.

Trim index and check fit

Affix • Affix pontics to index with either light cure clear, cyanoacrylate, or some clear self cure. Do not use Scanocryl or any radiopaque product.

Duplicate approved diagnostic arrangement in PVS lab putty

• For dual gradiant guides • For single gradiant fill tooth intaglios with guides fill tooth 30% Scanocryl and fill intaglios with 30% the base with 10% Scanocryl and base with clear self curing acrylic.
