Who am I? Good question…
I’m a product guy - consumer
I’m charged with 1-3 yr strategy

Worked at ‘big’ media & start-ups

Lesson 1: Nail your objectives
the good guys:
have some (!!) and make them count
set stretch goals – be ambitious
and - understand the challenges
(16 / 100,000+ = wow ….)

“ my MD wants something shiny…”

Lesson 2: Who’s your audience?
the good guys:
know your target audience - exactly
develop a water-tight business case
test, test, test, test ……………
the rest:
“ if we just launch they will come”

Lesson 3: Delight them!
the good guys:
‘ great’ is 1000x better than ‘good’
“ would I use it? Honestly?”
