  • Assignment Title: IP Telephony solution for Educational Institute. Objective: With the help of IP telephony to known the people about the educational institute such as about institute, location of the institute, running program, proposed program, admission, education fee, education system, result system and so on with the very easy way and very little or no cost and any where in the world. How dose the Solution Work: User experience: • The user subscribes for a particular service plan on the service provider’s. • The provider sends the user a IP Phone. The user connects the IP Phone to his/her local area network. • The user picks up the IP Phone and hears a regular dial tone. • The user dials a destination number and the call gets connected. Service provider experience: • When the user picks up the IP Phone and dials the destination number IP Telephony Gateway sends an authorization request to IP Telephony. • Request passes the destination number to and requests routing information. • Uniswitch returns to the IP address of the remote (termination) gateway and connects to it. The remote gateway terminates the call to the destination party. • Upon call completion, records complete information for the call.

So for the IP telephony solution of an educational institute we may consider the followings: i) About Institute. ii) Location of the Institute. iii) Admission Information. iv) Education System. v) Result System. vi) Faculty Information. vii) Library Information. viii) Institute Foundation. ix) Institute Administration. viii) Institute Club information. So for the IP telephony solution for educational institute there is a unique key for that institute. Such that if one educational institute unique is 1234 for entered the IP telephony call center of that institute, then any one can know about the educational institute and others of that institute by pressing that key and following the instruction that provide the institute IP telephony call center. The institute IP telephony call center also provides solution in several languages such as Bengali and English. So at first the person has to select the language by pressing the provided key that provides the institute IP telephony call center. Then the code for About Institute may be 1, Location code may be
  • 2, Admission code may be 3, Institute Foundation code may be 4, Institute Administration code may be 5 and so on that provide the IP telephony call center. i) About Institute: The section “About Institute” may have contained the following subsections: • Brief History of the Institute • Message from VC • Strategy of the Institute • Accreditation • International Advisory Board • International Affiliation • International Recognition So if someone want to know about the Institute then the institute authority can known to that person by the help of IP telephony in the following way: The institute IP telephony call center provides the unique key for the section “About Institute”. So with the help of IP telephony, people can know easily about the history of the educational institution, i.e; if one want to know about the history of the institute then he can press the code number of the institute that provide the institute uniquely, then he will flow the instruction that provide the institute by the IP telephony, such as if he want know in Bangla, then he press 1 or if he want to know in English then press 2. After that he will be flow the instruction that provide institute call center with the help of IP telephony. So in this way by pressing the selected key 1 for History of the Institute, 2 for Strategy of the Institute, 3 for Accreditation, 4 for International Advisory Board, 5 for International Affiliation, 6 for International Recognition and so on, one can easily know about that section. ‘ii) Location of the Institute: If one want to know about the location i.e; where the institute is situated. Then one can press the unique key 1234 for entered IP telephony call center of that educational institute, and then any one can entered the call center by pressing the unique key. And he will be flow the instructions that provide the institute call center by the help of IP telephony. The institute call center authority can provide this feature by the simple sms system or by the voice sms system i.e.; means the person who want to know about the institute location, he can easily press the unique key and flow the instructions and he can know about the institute location from any where in the world and in the suitable language.
  • iii) Admission Information: If one want to know about Admission, then at first he have to entered the institute’s Admission section by pressing the unique key (1234), then he will be flow the instruction the information that provide that institute IP telephony call center. If the Admission section’s code is 1, then he will press 1 and flow the instruction. In this time the institute IP telephony call center authority can ask the person name and later they can known to him about admission information and related other information any time. The section “Admission” may contain the following subsections; • Running Programs. • Proposed Programs. • Registration Information. • Financial Information.. • Tuition and other fees. • Frequently Asked Questions. • How to Download Admission Forms. • How to Apply Online. Running Programs: Some one may want to know about the running programs that offer the educational institute. If in that institute running programs are under graduate and graduate then they can provide their programs in two sections. For under graduate they can provide the running program and for graduate they can provide the running program differently. And this will be helpful for the people who want to know about running program. For the running programs the institute IP telephony call center provides the unique key. In this way if the person who may want to know about the running programs he will press the unique key and then flow the instructions that provide the institute call center. The institute call center may provide the key 2 for running programs. Then they can provide the sub unique key, such as 1 for under graduate and 2 for graduate. So in this way any one who want to know about running programs information he/she will flow the provided instructions by the institute IP telephony call center and can know about the running programs of that educational institute.
  • Proposed Programs: Some one may want to know about the proposed programs that offer the educational institute. If in that institute proposed programs are undergraduate and graduate then they can provide their programs in two sections. For under graduate program and for the graduate program they can provide the proposed program they can provide the running program differently. And this will be helpful for the people who want to know about proposed program. For the proposed programs the institute IP telephony call center provides the unique key. In this way if the person who may want to know about the proposed programs he will press the unique key and then flow the instructions that provide the institute IP telephony call center. The institute IP telephony call center may provide the key 2 for proposed programs. Then they can provide the sub unique key, such as 1 for under graduate and 2 for graduate. So in this way any one who want to know about proposed programs information he/she will flow the provided instructions by the institute IP telephony call center and can know about the proposed programs of that educational institute. Registration Information: Some one may want to know about the registration information i.e.; how to registry for admission. So for this purpose the person have to select the institute unique key (1234), then flow the instruction. If the registration key is 3 then he will press the key 3 from his phone. The institute IP telephony call center authority can write the name and phone number of that person and then they known to that person about registration information. Financial Information: If one wants to know about the financial information for that institute then he/she will have to press the selected code (1234) for that educational institute then follow the instruction that provide the institute IP telephony call center key . If the Financial Information key is 4 then he will press the key 4 from his phone and can know about the Financial Information. The institute IP telephony call center authority can also write the name and phone number of that person and then they known to that person about financial information later. Tuition and other Fees: If one wants to know about the Tuition and other Fees information for that institute then he/she will have to press the selected code (1234) for that educational institute then follow the instruction that provide the institute IP telephony call center. If the Tuition and other Fees Information key is 5 then he will press the key 5 from his phone and can know about the Tuition and other Fees Information. The institute IP telephony call center authority can also write the name and phone number of that person and then they known to that person about tuition and other fees information later.
  • How to Download Admission forms: Some one may wants to know about how to download admission form for admission examination. So for this, institute IP telephony call center then can help them in this way i.e.; after selecting the code (1234) for that educational institute then follow the instruction that provide the institute IP telephony call center key. If the IP telephony call center provides the key 5 for this subsection then he will press the key 5 from his phone and can know about how to download admission form internet. The institute IP telephony call center authority may also write name and phone number of that person who want to know how to download admission form from internet, and then they known to that person about information later. How to Apply Online: Some time one may wants to know about how to apply online for attend admission examination. So for this, institute IP telephony call center then can help them in this way i.e.; after selecting the code (1234) for that educational institute then follow the instruction that provide the institute IP telephony call center. If the IP telephony call center provides the key 6 for this subsection then he will press the key 6 from his phone and can know about how to apply online for admission. In this way any one can know about others information of that educational institute add the educational institute authority may known to others about their information easily. iv) Institute Foundation: If one want to know about Institute Foundation, then at first he have to entered the institute’s Institute Foundation section by pressing the unique key (1234), then he will be flow the instruction that provide that institute IP telephony call center. If the Institute Foundation section’s code is 3, then he will press 3 and flow the instruction and know about institute Foundation. In this time the institute IP telephony call center authority can ask the person name and phone number and later they can also known to him about admission information and related other information any time.
  • The section Institute Foundation may have contained the following subsections: • Member of Foundation • Board of Governs • Executive Committee • Endowment Committee • Law and Constitution Committee • Campus Development Committee • Financial Assistant Committee • Purchase Committee • International Promotion and Affiliation Committee • Taxation Committee In the above way this subsection will have code number i.e.; Member of Foundation code may be 1, Board of Governs code may be 2, Executive Committee code may be 3, Endowment Committee code may be 4 , Law and Constitution Committee code may be 5, and so on. v) Institute Administration: The institute IP telephony call center provides the unique key for the section “Institute Administration”. So with the help of IP telephony, people can know easily about the institute administration of that educational institution. They also know about the subsection and this subsections are- • Vice Chancellor’s office • Pro VC’s Office • Treasurer’s office • Dean’s Office • Institute Authorities • Other Administrative Office This subsection may have code 1 for Vice Chancellor’s Office, 2 for Pro VC’s office, 3 for Treasurer’s Office, 4 for Dean’s office and so on. The subsection Dean’s office may have contain the following subsections-
  • • School of Business • School of Arts and Social Sciences • School of Applied Sciences The subsection Institute Authority may have contain the following subsections- • Academic Council • Curriculum committee • Finance Committee • Faculty Selection Committee • Planning and Development Committee • Disciplinary Committee • Library Committee In the above way this subsection may have code numbers such as 1 for Academic Council, 2 for Curriculum Committee, 3 for Finance Committee, 4 for Faculty Selection Committee and so on. PBX Solution with the help of IP Telephony: In the educational institute they have need PBX (Private Branch Exchange). So the educational authority can use IP telephone as their PBX solution. If they use IP telephony as their PBX solution it will be easy and free of cost. Remarks: If any educational institute authority use IP telephony to provide their information and their PBX solution with the help of IP telephony then it will be very economically helpful for them, because it greatly reduced number of access line, reduced recurring carrier charges, reduced access line fees and surcharges, reduced access line taxes, eliminate call feature charges and it will be very flexible.
