Established• Aug 14‚1947 Pakistan came into being and the announcement of its creation was made by the new organization‚ the Pakistan Broadcasting Service which comes into existence at the same time and later designated as Radio Pakistan.• Presently Radio Pakistan is broadcasting programs in 23 languages.

Continued… Media Boom We have 90 TV channels, 106 FM stations in Last 10 years.• In Pakistan there are more than 72 AM , FM and SW transmitters(32 radio stations) owned by radio Pakistan are disseminating useful information across the world.• By April 2004 more than 50 licenses had been issued for private FM Radio stations
