Rhine River <ul><li>Originates in the Swiss Alps mountain range </li></ul><ul><li>Flows NW to the North Sea </li></ul><ul><li>Europeans depend on the Rhine to ship goods throughout the continent </li></ul><ul><li>River has had a major influence on the history and economy of Europe </li></ul>
