    • KSU Academic Colleges
      General Endowments & Scholarships
      Kennesaw State University was established by the University System of Georgia in 1963 and its mission includes education, research and service. KSU is the third largest university in the University System of Georgia with over 23,400 students enrolled in its 70 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs within its eight academic colleges.
      *Establishing a Distinguished and/or Endowed position provides funds to its holder in support of his or her teaching, research and service and is supported by payout from an endowment fund, a fund functioning as an endowment fund, or from an annual allocation.
    • The 4,600-seat KSU Convocation Center opened in 2005 is home
      to the Owls basketball
      and volleyball teams
      as well as the athletic department’s administrative offices.
      The Convocation Center features a hospitality and pressroom for media and the President’s Room located on the third floor
      is used to host hospitality events on game nights.

    • Currently, over 3000 students live on campus in KSU’s four apartment communities.
      KSU Place, University Place, and University Village are apartment-style, fully furnished
      units with full kitchens. University Village Suites, which opened in Fall
      2008, houses 913 freshmen students in suite-style accommodations.

    • The Commons
      The two-story, 53,466-sq. ft. facility features student-designed artwork and an
      on-site herb and vegetable garden.
      Offering nine different food venues including made-to-order specialty sandwiches, build-your-own salads, and international and regional cuisines that offer student recommended recipes, The Commons sets a new standard for campus dining. 
    • Horace W. Sturgis Library
      The Library will build
      out its current technology spaces into an undergraduate
      Information Commons allowing students
      and faculty more
      opportunities to engage
      in content creation.
      Additional seating,
      computer work stations,
      study rooms and group collaboration areas will
      give students the optimal studying environment.
    • WellStar Health Sciences Building
      Prillaman Hall
      The Silver LEED
      Certified Health
      Sciences Building offers
      an additional 200,000
      sq. ft. of classroom, laboratory and office
      space to promote cross campus and departmental collaboration.
      The expanded facility
      Allows the university
      to increase the number
      of nursing graduates
      from about 185 a year
      to approximately 250.
    • Bagwell College of Education
      KSU’s Bagwell College of Education offers an array of teacher education programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, education specialist and doctoral levels.
      BCOE places strong emphasis on preparing teachers in high need
      areas such as special education, English as a Second Language and “STEM” disciplines.
    • Coles College of Business
      KSU is one of only a few universities in the United States to offer a four-year degree in professional selling, which incorporates the skills and ethics of sales.
      The Sales program allows students to develop an effective combination of strategic and tactical communication, relationship building and sales skills through real life and experiential exercises.
    • College of the Arts
      COTA provides outstanding arts education which prepares students to be locally and globally engaged artists, scholars, educators, and citizens.
      The College offers liberal arts and professional arts degrees that honor tradition alongside innovation, fuses theory and practice, and promotes integrity, discipline, arts advocacy, and leadership.
    • College of Science and Mathematics
      KSU’s College of Science and Mathematics (CSM)
      has reached full capacity
      for instructional and research laboratory
      space in the biological
      and chemical science degree programs.
      The new science lab will
      be a four-story, 52,000 sq. ft. structure housing 14 teaching labs, 12 student labs along with other instructional and administrative office spaces.
    • The CHSS hosts
      16 programs in eight departments, providing
      the diverse learning experiences students
      need to both construct
      the framework for their
      chosen majors and develop the depth of knowledge demanded
      by employers.
      CHSS is dedicated to
      ensuring that the needs
      of the workplace are matched by the diversity
      of its degrees.
      College of Humanities & Social Sciences
    • University College
      University College provides an academic home for exploratory students who have not yet determined their academic major .
      University College also provides greater visibility and significance to a variety of programs, academic support services, and projects which promote student engagement and student success in and out of the classroom.
