4. History of Prezi:
•Peter Halacsy is currently the assistant professor at the new media,
and Adam Somlai-Fischer is an architect and creative designer with
interests in new technologies.
•Peter and Adam created Prezi and was establish on April 5, 2009.
•The application was known as 'ZuiPrezi' - 'Zui' as in zooming using
interface, and 'Prezi' as in the Hungarian diminutive of presentation.
•On December 15, 2008 the team dropped the 'Zui' because people
could not pronounce it correctly.
5. Definition of Prezi:
• Prezi is an online, flash-based presentation creator. It
shares similar functionality with other presentation
programs, like Microsoft Power Point of Apple
Keynote.
6. Prezi’s tools
• P a n a n d Z o o m : Prezi’s panning and zooming navigation
give it a more cinematic feel than two-dimensional presentation
software.
• T h e P r e z i Z e b r a ( b l u e c i r c l e ) : an object
manipulation icon that lets you size, rotate, or edit an object.
• T h e P r e z i c a n v a s : an open space upon which the user
places and navigates between text, images, and videos.
• F r a m e : to present all objects together as one slide.
• P a t h : connects presentation objects for the purposes of
structuring a linear presentation.

8. How to use Prezi?
• Step 1: Go to
www.prezi.com
9. • Step 2: Once you are on
the homepage of Prezi,
click on sign up
10. • Step 3: After you
click on “Sign Up”,
scroll down a little
bit, and click on
“Start Now” under
the Public column.
11. Step 4: Fill out the
information
needed to sign up.
12. Step 5: Now that
you have created
an account with
Prezi.com. It will
take you to your
profile, which
looks like this:
13. Step 6: To create a
new presentation,
click on “New
Prezi”. Then fill out
the title,
description
(optional), and
chose a template.

your Prezi, You will get a
blank space with Prezi
tools like this
17. Step 8: To write
something, double
click anywhere on
the background
and a text box will
appear. Then type
what you want
inside the box.
18. Step 9: To insert, click on the circle
in the top left hand corner of the
template named “insert”. Then,
choose the type of media you
want, or to add a simple shape,
click on “shapes”
19. Step 10: To frame something,
click on “frame” in the top left
corner. Then, choose which
way you want to frame the
chosen item.
20. Step 11: To move something
in your presentation, Click on
the “Zebra” circle, and click
on the item you want to
move. A blue circle will
appear on top of the item.
Click and hold the hand
button and move the item to
where you want it to be
located, you can use the blue
circle to re size the item and
rotate it

click on the “path” circle.
