Ein Vortrag von mir für ein Seminar der Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft. Es geht um Äußerungen auf Twitter, die zum Jobverlust führen können, das Stalken von Personen im Internet (mit Klout und knowem), die Identifizierung von vermeintlich anonymen Nutzern, usw. Außerdem zeige ich, wie viele Daten manche Facebook-Apps abgreifen und bringe ein paar Beispiele aus den Bereichen Identitätsdiebstahl und Social Engineering. Ergänzt wird das ganze von ein paar Studien: 1) Euer Facebook-Profil sagt euren Erfolg in Studium & Job voraus. 2) Twitter-Profile von Psychopathen kann man algorithmisch erkennen. Und natürlich kann man Facebook auch noch zum Wahlkampf und für Aufklärung von Verbrechen einsetzen.

The Experience is a game where players go through exercises to help them realize how easily a minor incident can turn into a crisis. During the game, the players will experience a financial hardship — maybe a medical bill, car problem, or a job loss. To avoid homelessness, the players will utilize the services provided by St. Vincent de Paul. They might seek pretend job training, free medical support, or help paying a utility bill. The goal is to get the help needed and avoid homelessness. The game is pretend, but the scenarios and services are real. The Experience will help people understand how easily homelessness can happen, and help them realize some of the things St. Vincent de Paul is doing every day to prevent it.
