  7. 7. ACSI - HOW TO GET STARTED WITH USING SOSMED Each case-group chooses their ACSI SosMed Case-Actor TODAY! ACSI SosMed Case- Actors have their daily meetings during the camp. Each case-group reports how they are going to use Social Media Tools in their case-team and reports that in the beginning of the camp by the case-group reporter. If you have any questions related to using Social Media during ACSI or need help in using it, please contact your own case-group ACSI SosMed Case-Actor! SosMed Case-Actors will meet today in Cone-lounge at 7.30 pm today. 7
  8. 8. Starting with massidea.org: All case-groups are expected to use massidea.org at: http://www.massidea.org Each ACSI-case has its own massidea.org group (acsi10c1=ACSI case group 1 etc.). During the camp-days each group will launch “campaigns” ie. topic for posting contents to certain themes under the topic. Everybody has a ready-made login for massidea.org with username: initial of your firstname.lastname (e.g. r.kuusisto) password: acsi 8

Starting with massidea.org: Update immediately your own ACSI-profile information at massidea.org by tomorrow morning (Tue 29, June) As a kick-start of using massidea.org we have launched the first campaign “day 1 initial insight” for each group which we ask you to fill in the paper form before buffet dinner today and pass them to registration desk. Co-ordinators will update this Information to you profile by tomorrow morning. 9

Join ACSI2010 Facebook group (for general camp news and up-to-date information). The role of Facebook is for camp-related news and general information. - Use Twitter to share your ad-hoc thoughts and feelings - Share ppt-presentations at SlideShare …And most importantly of all - Have Fun! 10

Some Hints to Ease The Use • Use Facebook (fb connect) or gmail account to login in different services without registering many times • When linking content to Facebook you have to either put it straight in your case fan page or share it from your profile to you case fan page • There is computer for common use by the registration desk. It can be used for sharing pictures etc. • Most of the SoMe tools can post directly to Facebook – but make sure to link it also in your case fan page, not only to your profile •Most of the SoMe platforms can be used with mobile phones via browser or native application • Use the correct tags or keywords so that the information can be linked to the right fan pages and in right context 38
