    A relative new-comer to the English language, the term Ideation was combined from Idea Generation.
    Ideate is also a verb! When we brainstorm together around a design theme, we’re ideating.
    “Only left-handed people are in their right minds.”

    Ideation Sketching is about loosening up your mind, your hand, and the connection between them.
    Think Different!—L-mode and R-mode, terms introduced in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edward.

    Creating visual solutions
    Brainstorming with images, words & short phrases
    Harnessing the right side of the brain to work for us in problem solving
    (Often working in groups) without judgment to access the craziest ideas: these lead to the brilliantones. Group synergy is key!

    In Groups: Indentify a Design Problem.
    Ideate around the problem together.
    You can:
    Sketch, make mind maps, think.
    Talk a lot or a little. Only listen and draw.
    Keep track of amazing tangential ideas, tell each other to build momentum.
    Feel free to jump around your page with ideas.
    Suspend judgment; it will help you be more prolific.
