Explain to the students the time zones (Pacific Standard Time, Mountain Standard Time, Central Standard Time, and Eastern Standard Time). Have students make their own clock with the materials provided. Allow them to figure out the time zones in different states.
Then, compare time from one state to another to find the difference.
