    • OBJECTIVES• To design and use an intervention programme which will directly benefit the participants• To gain an understanding and awareness of the culture and values of their partners.• To raise awareness of its impact on their lives and educational experience, particularly in relation to literacy and mathematics.• To encourage motivation among students by involving them more actively in their own learning.
    • OBJECTIVES• To build on their interest in IT/ICT to develop learning strategies which could increase their motivation, their literacy levels and their interest in maths and science.• To encourage them to suggest and use alternative learning approaches which would make subject content more relevant to them.• To build up a bank of resources which can be more widely used to benefit other students
    • ACTIVITIES• YEAR 1 (2012-13): YEAR 2 (2013-14): - Work on language and literature. - Work online – Online collaborative - Maths, science work in Twinspace and technology – Surveys on reading habits – Work on “A Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. – “Phrase Book” in the languages of the project.
    • EXPECTED RESULTS• To make students more aware of their own responsibility in the learning process.• To make them increase their literacy as well as mathematical and scientific levels.• To make them more active in using, and also find out about, and even invent themselves, different products within the ICT/Edumedia field in their own studies.• To document this and let the schools benefit from their results and products in this project. * To let this be a part of a bigger European intercultural context, together also with schools in Ireland, Germany and Spain.
    • VISITS 2012-13• Coordinators’ Meeting: 13-17 October 2012,Göteborg (Sweden).• 16-20 desembre 2012: Güstrow (Alemanya).• 9-13 abril 2013: Dublin (Irlanda).• 4-8 juny 2013: Biella (Itàlia).
