  1. 1. OUR SHARED FASHION MISSION An etwinning project about the world of clothes and fashion by 3 schools from Europe: -Nyvangskolan in Dalby, Lund (Sweden), - Marijampolés Petro Armino Secondary School (Lithuania) - Institut Jaume Callís in Vic, Barcelona (SPAIN)

OBJECTIVES: • to widen our pupil's experimental and cultural horizons; • to use English as the lingua franca among different European young people ; • to use the ICT in a creative and educational communicative way with the use of blogs, chats, forums, emails...; • to explore and debate on issues related to the environment, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia...) and other cross-curricular issues; • to exchange cultural realities of the different countries related to the world of clothes and fashion: giving opinions, reaching conclusions and developing a rich and multicultural European reality
  3. 3. DURATION: • from September 2009 to June 2010 LEVEL OF OUR STUDENTS: • 4th ESO (15-16 year-olds): SPAIN • 8th. & 9th. grades (14-16 year-olds): SWEDEN • 8th. & 9th. grades (14-16 year-olds): LITHUANIA NUMBER OF STUDENTS INVOLVED: • 84 pupils (39 Spaniards, 14 Lithuanians and 31 Swedes)

SPECIAL EVENTS/ TASKS: December 09: EXCHANGE OF XMAS GREETINGS: collected in the Twinpace and published in the Blog using www.slide.com or www.animoto.com - In December ’09: “THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA”: Task 1: watch trailer and predict about the film. Task 2: write an opinion essay about the world of fashion depicted in the film

VIDEOCONFERENCE LT/ES: in April/ in the twinspace communicate using www.skype.com and getting to know each other better PODCASTS “LISTEN TO US”: - in May / in the twinspace - recording of students’ reflections on the project February ´10: EDITA’S VISIT TO VIC: Exchange of presents (postcards and posters prepared by students with the help of the art teacher) Edita’s speech about Lithuania, the school, the students, the project. Comments on the event and presents in the twinspace.

WEBTOOLS: • Presentations using Powerpoint and uploaded online using www.empressr.com and www.issuu.com . • Use of www.youtube.com and www.vimeo.com to upload and host videos. • Use of www.picasa.com, www.animoto.com and www.slide.com to upload picture albums. • Use of www.polldaddy.com for surveys. • Use of www.podomatic.com for podcasts • Use of www.digimi.com and www.i-dressup.com to create designs • Use of www.skype.com to hold videoconferences
