    Religious Literacy Assessment - Presentation Transcript

    1. One with Gods creation By Samuel Bowmer 4B
    2. Creation story day 1
      • In the beginning the earth was dark and formless, God said, “let there be light” and there was light, God looked upon what he had made and saw it was good.
    3. Day 2
      • God then said, “Let there be space above the oceans to separate the heavens from the earth” God called the space sky.God looked upon what he had made sand saw it was good.
    4. Day 3
      • Then God said,” let dry land appear from the deep waters and let the land produce plants, crops and fruit trees of every type”God looked upon what he had made and saw it was good.
    5. Day 4
      • God said “Let there be lights in the sky to divide Day from night marking the days, seasons and turning of the years let the lights shine down on the earth” God created the sun to shine at day and the moon and stars to shine at night.God looked upon what he had made and saw it was good.
    6. Day 5
      • Then God said “let the waters breed life and swarm with living things and let birds fly in the sky above” ,God created all species of fish and bird. God looked upon what he had made and saw it was good.
    7. Day 6
      • And God said “let the earth produce every species of animal”God looked upon what he had made and he saw it was good,the he said “I will also create human beings in my form, let them rule my kingdom and take care of it”. So God created both male an female human beings and blessed every thing he had made.
    8. Day 7
      • On the seventh day God had finish all his work of creation so he rested and blessed that day as the special day of rest.
    9. My place in creation and caring for it
      • Our place in creation is to look after Gods creation so here is a few suggestions…
      • 1.Save water by having shorter showers etc
      • 2.Plant more trees and shrubs.
      • 3.Save electricity by turning off lights when you go out a room.
      • 4.convince others not to litter
    10. My prayer
      • My Lord,all praise to you through every thing you have created.
      • First, my master,brother sun,the day bringer.
      • through him you give us light.
      • My lord, all to you through sisters moon and stars.
      • You make them brighten the sky, precious and beautiful.
      • My lord, all praise to you through wind and air,
      • Calm or stormy, all weathers moods.
      • My Lord,all praise to you through sister water.
      • How useful and humble, precious and pure she is.
      • My Lord, all praise to you through brother fire, through him you light up the night.
      • My Lord, all praise to you through sister earth, our mother, who feeds us in her power, producing fruits, bright flowers and plants
      • My Lord, all praise to you.
