Conformed To His Image

if the goal is being conformed to the image of romans 8:29 the Christ...

“God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands ﬁrst in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.” romans 8:29

then, what will it take for this to happen to me?

what will it cost ?

will i be able to pay the price ?

must i get my hands dirty for the sake of the Gospel?

must I look @ myself as I really exist?

must i learn a new way to live?

yes, you must...

well, OK. but how?

i need help...

did you know there is only one way to be conformed to the image of the Christ? (romans 8:29)

yes, the answer is -- prayer...

sustained, daily, real prayer...

well, how should i pray?

pray this way

LORD, give me grace... Give me grace to be conformed to Your Son...

as you sustain this prayer... • you’ll find strength to live the gospel life, even when you dirty your hands... • you’ll find the strength to face the real you... • you’ll find strength to live a new way -- the Jesus-way...

try it for a year and see what happens...
