1. What IBS is and How to Deal with It
IBS stands for Irritable bowel syndrome and irritable bowel syndrome is were you are
having an abnormal colon contraction which cause diarrhea constipation and,
sometimes vomiting. Now doctors don’t know what causes these symptoms so you will
have to see a GI specialist if you think you have Ibs they will test if you have chrons
disease, and if you don’t then most likely you have ibs It is more common for Women to
have Ibs then men. Doctors don’t know why it’s more common for women to have ibs
they just do. If your having a lot of diarrhea you should go to the doctor immediately just
to make sure it’s nothing serious.
Food you cannot eat if you have IBS
There are many food out there that you cannot eat if you have Ibs but the main thing is
dairy you don’t wan’t want to eat dairy. This will cause you to have really bad diarrhea
stay away from dairy. Here a list of food you should not eat.
• Breads and cereals made with refined (not whole) grains
• Processed foods such as chips and cookies

• High-protein diets
Food you Can eat If you have IBS
If you have ibs I would reccomend you go vegan because that would help alot with your
symptoms, but you don’t have to theres many great foods out there that won’t trigger
your ibs and here is some.
• Eat a moderate amount of soluble fiber. It adds bulk to your stools. Good sources
are whole wheat breads, oats, barley, brown rice, whole-grain pasta, the flesh of
fruit (not the skin), and dried fruits.
• Don’t eat foods at opposite temperatures, such as ice-cold water and steaming
hot soup, in the same meal.
• Stay away from broccoli, onions, and cabbage. They cause gas, which can make
you feel worse.
• Eat smaller portions.
• Drink water an hour before or after meals, not while you eat.
• Talk with your doctor or a dietitian if you think you may have a wheat allergy.
Deal With sleep
Your sleep plays a big part in your ibs if you don’t get a good sleep you can have
stomach ache in the morning and if you you get a good sleep you should be fine. If you
have sleeping problems I recommend you start a sleep schedule this will help you get a
better sleep at night, and this will also help your symptoms. Also eating healthier can
help with your symptoms. You want to try to be happy everday and controll the way you
feel so that you won’t have to suffer in stomach pain.

3. Imodium is one of the best things to take if your having diarrhea. Now what Imodium
does is if your having diarrhea it will slow down your contracting which cause cramping
and diarrhea and turn it back normal. I don’t recommend you take Imodium everyday
though because it can cause constipation if you take it too much. You have to see how
it works for your body. you should take this every where you go just in case you have
