Sense-making Decision-making Action-Making The emergent result of these steps taken by individuals forms the basis of “culture”, as defined by Wikipedia as “an integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior that depends upon the capacity for symbolic thought and social learning”. An Overview
    3. Sense-Making It is "a motivated, continuous effort to understand connections (which can be among people, places, and events) in order to anticipate their trajectories and act effectively" (Klein et al., 2006a)
    4. Decision-Making “can be regarded as an outcome of mental processes (cognitive process) leading to the selection of a course of action among several alternatives. Every decision making process produces a final choice. The output can be an action or an opinion of choice.” Wikipedia
    5. Action-Making “the processes causing intentional (willful) human bodily movements of more or less complex kind” Wikipedia
