Public health issues etc. </li></ul>

Kibera/Mathare, Kenya <ul><li>Population of Kibera: 150,000 – 1,000,000? </li></ul><ul><li>Area of 2.25sqKm </li></ul><ul><li>Population of Mathare: 100,000 – 500,000 </li></ul><ul><li>Area of 1sqKm </li></ul><ul><li>Representative of other slums around the world (Mumbai, Lagos etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Thriving services (Toilets, health, transport, mobile phone charging), citizens, Community Based Organisations and gangs are providing services. </li></ul>

(World Bank, UNOCHA, UNICEF) </li></ul><ul><li>Trusts - Community run/led </li></ul><ul><li>Platforms and systems to help in disconnected environments, fitting with citizens and community leaders/government </li></ul><ul><li>Not just about statistics and data collection, a human element is good, finding the right combination is better. </li></ul>
