Highlighted enhancements: • New Advanced VM High Availability Features – Minimize or eliminate planned- and unplanned downtime through included VM High Availability features; • New HA Clustered Oracle VM Manager – Optionally cluster Oracle VM Manager for maximum management up-time; • New Physical-to-Virtual / Virtual-to-Virtual Machine Conversion – Quickly convert existing Linux physical servers or VMware® virtual machines to Oracle VM virtual machines to reduce license expenses; • New Secure Live Migration – Most migration products don’t encrypt your migration traffic, creating vulnerabilities. Oracle VM now SSL encrypts migration traffic to protect sensitive data from exploitation and eliminate the requirement for additional hardware and dedicated networks; • New VM Templates for Faster Application Deployment – Download and import pre-configured virtual machines containing pre-installed Oracle enterprise applications or other software to get up and running in hours not weeks. 1
