      Questions about Space and Volume: 
      2.1. Name the three dimensions of an object: high , width and depth
    • HEIGHT
      2.2. What is height? Is the vertically, from a top to a bottom
    • 2.3. Define volume The objects we use every day all have volume and occupy space , all the objects have tree dimensions
    • 2.4. Look at "Horses in a Meadow", by Edgar Degas and explain how the painter creates a sense of depth in this painting. He painted a mountain and a lot of grass.
    • 2.5. What is the technique of "overlapping" and why is it used?To create the effect of one object slightly hidden behind another.
    • 2.6.  Look at "Pietá at the Foot of the Cross" (fragment), by Ambrosious Benson and explain the relationships between different planes. The plane is very colour and the people was helping.
    • 2.7. Look at "The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit" by John Singer Sargent. How does the painter create the sense of depth? He puts the people behind and in front each other

      1.1. Why does the rainbow show seven colours? The rainbow show seventcolours because it rains the white ligth of SUN goes though the raindrops and splits into seven colours
    • 1.2. What is the reason why we perceive the tomato as red?
    • 1.3. What colours are used to transmit a sense of happiness and joy
    • 1.4. Find a portrait by Renoir that expresses a sad character by using pale colours, and one that expresses a happy or vivid character.
