    3. Social networking has become the new water-cooler. It is where people meet, connect, share and have the opportunity to learn.

    5. The problem facing organizations is that few have utilized social networking tools to create informal communication and learning environments for their employees and volunteers.

Some organizations have banned Facebook, Youtube, and MySpace out of the fear of people wasting time The problem however is that people like to talk and many are deemed to silent cubicles or working from the home office The time seems right to offer a new way for people to build community and shape the culture of their organizations
