New Image Manager

  1. 1. New Image Manager Coppermine Integrated into the AerApplication Admin
  2. 2. Log In to Admin <ul><li>Click on Image Administration </li></ul>This is the page first page of the Image Manager. To use Log In with your supplied username and password
  3. 3. Login page <ul><li>Input your Username and Password then click on Login </li></ul>
  4. 4. Admin Menu <ul><li>Note changes in the menu selection </li></ul>Feel free to explore but for the sake of this presentation we will address configuring to upload images to our web application. To start click on the Albums button in the menu above.
  5. 5. Album Manager <ul><li>Add an Album </li></ul>Click on the New button. Change the resulting name to on of your choice Click on the Apply Modifications Submit Button
  6. 6. Create Album <ul><li>You can Add several Albums Themes. </li></ul>I have named this Album Basics. Add more albums if you desire. It is a nice way to keep track of images by your own categories. When you have finished click on the Apply Modifications button then....
  7. 7. Upload file <ul><li>Click on the Upload file button </li></ul>Click on the Choose File button to select an image from your computer. You can upload 5 at a time. If you have more to upload just repeat the process.
  8. 8. Select Image <ul><li>Pop-up form used to select graphics </li></ul>Use this form to navigate to images you would like to upload. Click on the image you desire then click on open. Repeat process 1 to 5 times
  9. 9. Upload File <ul><li>Results of selecting 5 images to upload </li></ul>You will be able to repeat the process as offten as you need after processing these 5
  10. 10. Upload Results <ul><li>Note the Success Message. </li></ul><ul><li>Click on continue </li></ul>
  11. 11. Associate to Album <ul><li>Select Album, supply title + description </li></ul>Selecting an Album is required Giving a Title and Description are optional but later you will be glad if you did. Helps with search engine rankings.
  12. 12. Album + Picture <ul><li>If you associated the picture with an Album you will get this message. If not you will be reminded. Repeat for each uploaded image. </li></ul>
  13. 13. Manager Main Menu <ul><li>You come back to this menu upon success </li></ul>From here upload more images or return to your AerApp administrator.
  14. 14. AerApp Administrator <ul><li>Menu in the left column </li></ul>Now that we have images uploaded we can review and use them. In the number 3 spot in the menu on the left click on the Review Uploaded Images.
  15. 15. Images on server <ul><li>Images ready for your AerApp </li></ul>Note that there are two images for each one uploaded. A thumbnail and regular sized image. Notice the image location below the graphic. This will come in handy when it is time to associate the graphic to a web page in your are application.
