Proceeding I asked staff about where they usually store theirbelongings. Then I contacted the security company tocheck security guard’s profile. Finally, I questioned anumber of our staff for suggestions on improving officesecurity system.
Findings1. 90% of our employees put their belongings on orunder their desk. They do not have proper places tostore their belongings.2. There’s no CCTV in our office.3. Office doors are always unlocked4. Outside people can access the office withoutpermission.4. Security company does not have the guard’s profile.
ConclusionIt is possible that the thieves get into the office easilybecause we do not have enough security system toscan the outsiders before give them permission tocome inside.The security guard is not reliable.The fact that there is no place to store belongingsincreases tendency of thievery.
RecommendationThe company should report the security company tocheck their staff’s background.The company should provide the employees withlockers where they can store there belonging properly.Company should use the key card system so thatstrangers cannot enter the office.People who want to get inside need to go throughsecurity system and leave their identity card.
