  2. 2. • This is when permenant ink is inserted into the skin using needles.• They mean different things in different cultures.• Becoming very popular and seen as fashionable and “cool”.• Also used for identification. For example by gangs.
  3. 3. Henna tattoos • These are temporary tattoos. • Done by dying the skin with ink from the Henna plant. • Used mainly in Indian and Hindu cultures. • Indian and Hindu brides have these tattoos on their hands and feet.
