What are trackWhat are track concentrations?concentrations?  A track concentration is a set of related classes that will enable you to specialize in one of the following areas of psychology:  Behavioral Neuroscience  Clinical Rehabilitation Psychology  Industrial/Organizational Psychology  Psychology of Addictions

Why should you apply forWhy should you apply for a track concentration?a track concentration?  It will help you to focus on a specific area of psychology and discover if that area is the right one for you.  You will receive a certificate of completion and an official notation on your transcript when you graduate.  These credentials will help you to “stand out from the crowd” when you apply for graduate school and jobs.

  9. 9. Is a trackIs a track concentrationconcentration a requirement?a requirement? No, it is not a requirement, but . . .  It will enable you to specialize in a particular area of psychology.  It is unlikely that it will increase the number of classes you must take because the classes you will take to fulfill your concentration are probably the ones you are most interested in and would have taken anyway.

Application ProcedureApplication Procedure  Go to the department’s website and print out an application http://www.psych.iupui.edu/ungrad/docs/Application%20for or pick up an application from the Psychology Office (LD 124).  Complete the application, and return it to the Psychology Office.  You will receive a letter confirming your application.  If you decide to switch concentrations, simply submit another application.
