LEADERSHIP AND YOUR PRESENCE USING HAR TOOLS Presented by Marilyn Maxwell
Sharing Information via Social Media
Because of the constant evolvement of the Internet and now social media, REALTORS ® can no longer rely on a single website to mark their web presence and capture the Internet consumer. REALTORS ® are now having to maintain a website, a Facebook page, a blog, their tweets, a newsletter and so on. To help you promote your multiple social media sites to the consumer on HAR.com, you can now include links to these sites on the property detail page of your listings if you so choose. This action will also assist HAR in its goal of helping its members provide more relevant information to consumers.
Sharing Information via Social Media Your social networking and external sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, blog, website, and eNewsletter will be promoted on the property detail page of your listings on HAR.com. Create an e-mail signature containing the social media links. Then, copy and paste into your mail client (e.g. Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, etc.) . There are various signature templates to choose from. Personalized social media links

713 REALTOR Property Hotline
The 713-REALTOR Property Hotline provides your potential client an “on demand” audio walk through of your listing 24/7. Consumers dial 713-REALTOR and enter the property MLS number shown on the rider to obtain a digital audio description for that listing. In addition, consumers will be given the option to be connected to the listing agent during the call by pressing '1‘ and/or be sent a text message containing the property details by pressing ‘2’.
When a consumer calls the hotline, we capture the phone number of the person calling which is saved into a call log which can be accesses by logging into HAR. The report will display a list of your current listings and any call logs for those listings.
Agent Profile & Listing Videos
The member videos will add value by providing agents with an opportunity to market themselves beyond just a static image and bio, allowing agents to engage their customers in a new way.
The listing videos provide consumers the opportunity to capture a more in-depth view of the property that still photos simply can’t provide.
To promote videos, we have developed an online video directory consisting of listing and agent videos. The videos are broken down into two groups - agent and listing videos and are categorized into groups such as newest videos, most viewed videos, and others.
Agent Profile & Listing Videos
Online video is now a major part of our Web experience. Today more than 146 million Americans view online videos looking at 12.6 billion video clips. The YouTube phenomenon has played a major role in the online videos we see today. According to some research, an increasing number of individuals are moving away from television and toward the Internet for their video consumption needs.
More than 13 million hours of video uploaded videos during 2010 and 35 hours of video are uploaded every minute.
The equivalent of 150,000+ full-length movies in theaters uploaded each week
More video is uploaded to YouTube in 60 days than the 3 major US networks created in 60 years
YouTube is localized in 25 countries across 43 languages
70% of YouTube traffic comes from outside the US
YouTube's demographic is broad: 18-54 years old
YouTube reached over 700 billion playbacks in 2010
